They’re everywhere…

The more we talk about patterns and repetition…the more I’ve realized that it really is everywhere. It’s all over locust walk. It’s all over the buildings, especially those made of brick. It’s ingrained in nature. So considering that I’m usually one that thinks of patterns as distasteful, it makes me reconsider that opinion. Just because a pattern isn’t obvious or perfectly repeating doesn’t make it not a pattern. I found that I really like simple patterns, but also complex asymmetrical ones can be aesthetically pleasing as well.
